​Communication channels are types of media or network through which people send and receive messages. Organization decide to use effective communication channels to link with others, because communication are totally depend on the network that the company or organizations use. Inappropriate channels leads to the bad consequences. Different communication channels are used by business sectors like Face-to-Face conversation, Video Chats, Instant Messaging (IM), Memo, Report, Telephone, Email, Letter, Blog, Wiki and like so on.

Verbal communication: verbal communication is the spoken communication. This is the one of the oldest form of communication used in our day-to-day activities. Verbal communication include Face-to Face conversation, telephone, radio and television etc.

Non-verbal communication: In this communication people communicate without writing and speaking any things. This methods was used before, but now there is very least importance in business worlds. Non-verbal communication include gestures and signs (signal) gives to others.
